  • Harris County Precinct 2, Channelview, Tx - (APIN NO. 08102M00EO) - Sheldon Road from Jacintoport Blvd. north two miles to 2nd St. north of IH10. JAG performed design, topographic survey, and boundary survey for ROW acquisition (SES Horizon Consulting Engineers, Inc. – Prime).

  • Harris County Precinct 2 - Topographic survey for pedestrian bridge crossing at Big Gulch, including staking design centerline and abutment foundations for pedestrian bridge crossing.

  • White Oak Bayou Hike and Bike Trail - Alabonson to Hollister - Performed topographic survey for Harris county Hike and Bike Trail along one side of bayou.

DESIGN TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEYS

  • FM 2920 at Clear Creek H. S. (private) Galveston County - Design of traffic signal modifications required to add left turn lane into commercial site development to TxDOT Standards. Also obtained permit from TxDOT and evaluated bids for construction phase.

  • W. Bellfort Ave. at Buffalo Speedway (C.O.H.) - Design of new traffic signals at the intersection, and coordinated traffic signal interconnect with adjacent US90 (Main St.) corridor.

  • Traffic Signal Interconnect Project (Completed February 2012) - Prepared utility backgrounds for design of Fiber Optics Interconnect for traffic control systems (2.1 mi. along 11th St., 2.1 mi. along Leeland/Telephone/Lawndale, and 0.70 mi. along Bissonnet Corridors (C.O.H.)

TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECTS

  • Water Main Replacement in the Beamer Road Area, City of Houston 2010 Capital Improvement Projects

(WBS No. S-000035-0128-4) - Topographic survey for approximately 32,000 linear feet of local streets and major thoroughfares for this water main replacement project.

  • Extended Feasibility Study Sagemont Area Drainage Improvements WBS No. M-00100-008-3 - Prepared limited topographic survey including locating property boundaries, storm sewer systems, and inverts and high-points and low points, and preparation of surveyed backgrounds for Extended Feasibility Study. Finished floor elevation of structures at critical locations were also obtained.

  • Buffalo Speedway Extension from W. Airport Blvd. to Holmes Road (WBS No. N-000784-0001-3) - Preparation of topographic survey for 1.9 miles of new location roadway including 4 storm drainage outfall channels, 150’ wide, totaling a length of 1.7 miles. Scope of work included right-of-way mapping, metes and bounds descriptions, and staking for 63 right-of-way parcels.

CITY OF HOUSTON 2011 & 2014 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS

  • Neighborhood Street Reconstruction Project-NSR 465 (WBS No. N-000398-001-3) - JAG Engineering performed quality assurance and quality control, and independent quantities estimate for neighborhood street reconstruction project at the 90% complete bid document phase.

  • Pinemont Drive from Ella Blvd. to N. Shepherd (WBS No. N-000475-0002-4) - Preparation of Topographic survey and right-of-way acquisition survey for reconstruction of 1.15 mile project from 2-lane open ditch to 4-lane curb and gutter boulevard. JAG Engineering also prepared the right-of-way map, parcel plats, and metes and bound descriptions for corner clips at intersections, and for storm water detention pond and outfall ditch all in accordance with the latest City of Houston surveying requirements and checklist.

  • Water Main Replacement In The Cambridge Park Area (WBS No. S-000035-188-4)

Topographic Survey for small diameter waterline design consisting of approximately 30,120 linear feet of local streets and some major thoroughfares in accordance with the City of Houston Infrastructure Design Manual Chapter 2, Surveying Requirements.

  • Water Main Replacement In The Hiram Clarke Area (WBS No. S-000035-189-4)

Topographic Survey for small diameter waterline design consisting of approximately 29,700 linear feet of local streets and some major thoroughfares.

  • On-call Small Diameter Waterline Extensions in the City of Houston (WBS No. S-000700-A009-4).

Topographic survey for water main replacement projects at various locations in the City of Houston consisting of approximately 16,000 linear feet of local streets and 10,000 linear feet of major thoroughfares in the City of Houston. This project was Citywide and consisted of over 18 work orders including one work order within the City of Bellaire from Edloe St. (3700 Block) to the Railroad (4200 Block). The project consisted of replacement of 4,658 linear feet of 12-inch, 8-inch, and 4-inch cast iron waterline along Bellaire Blvd. JAG Engineering, Inc. was the project surveyor for preparation of survey background including, underground utilities, right-of-ways, easements, and construction staking. The survey background file prepared by JAG was used by the design team to design waterline interconnections with the City of Bellaire and for replacement of the COH water mains.

  • Storm Water Pump Station and Flood Warning System Improvement (WBS No. M-000241-006-3)

Preparation of Topographic Survey for construction of flood warning system and improvements at various underpasses throughout the City of Houston. Completed topographic surveying for two bid packages. These underpasses are typically along major thoroughfares and congested areas with heavy traffic and utilities. The project consisted of 5 work orders for 14 underpass locations.

  • Watonga Blvd. from W. 34th St. to W. 43rd St. - Design topographic survey for street rehabilitation project, including right-of-way acquisition for corner clips at major intersections and at grade railroad crossing. Prime – IDC, Inc. for City of Houston project.

  • Ground water pump stations sites – LAN Prime - Boundary and topographic survey for C.O.H. Pump Station and water tank site for various service areas.

  • Topographic Survey, and Civil Design for Four C.O.H. Solid Waste Management Sites, Prozign Architects, Prime. Prepared full depth pavement repair details, joint repair, new paving, drainage, and detention design for Southeast Service Center.

  • City of Tomball Parking Lots - Performed topographic survey and boundary survey for various parking lot sites for the City of Tomball (CLR, Inc. – Prime).

  • Kirkwood Rd, from Briar Forest to Buffalo Bayou Topographic Survey Walter P. Moore – Prime for C.O.H. project.

  • Melrose Park Paving and Drainage Improvements - C.O.H. (WBS No. M-410013-0001-3) - Topographic survey, and right-of-way acquisition survey. SES Horizon Consulting Engineers - Prime.

  • Lorraine Paving and Drainage from Houston Ave. to Jensen St. - C.O.H. (WBS No. N-1-28-0001-3) - Topographic Survey and right-of-way acquisition survey for 20 parcels. Aguirre and Fields - Prime.

CONSTRUCTION STAKING

  • Brown Road Utility Extensions (City of Tomball, Tx.) - Performed topographic survey for extension of public utility lines west of SH 249, including right-of-way acquisition survey, staking, and as-built survey.

  • Brown Paving Project from Quinn Rd. to Baker St. (City of Tomball, Tx.) - Performed construction staking and as-built survey for paving project.

  • Tomball Market - Construction staking for several "big box" store foundations and utility layouts in Tomball Market.

  • Kashmere Gardens Area Water Line Improvements - Plan & Profile for 15,000 LF of 8" and 12" water line. (Scientech, Inc. - Prime)

  • Woodlawn Area Water Line Improvements - Plan & Profile for 20,000 LF of 8", 12", & 16" water line, including preparation of project manual bid documents. (Omega Engineers, Inc. - Prime)

  • Southmore Ave. from Wafer Rd. to west side of Little Vince Bayou Bridge, Pasadena, Tx. (Scientech Engineers, Inc.)

  • University of St. Thomas Area Water Line Improvements (Houston, Tx.) - Plan & Profile for 30,000 LF of 8" & 12" water line, including preparation of estimates and bid document. (Omega Engineers, Inc. - Prime)

METRO PROJECTS

  • Review of preliminary construction & bid documents for 4 major light rail corridor design - build projects. (ARUP - Prime)

  • METRO Airport Direct - Topographic Survey for transit site on Travis St. between Pierce and St. Joseph Parkway

  • On-Call Surveying Contract for METRO - Completed work order for Title Survey for 5 tracts for the downtown Buffalo Bayou Transit Center Project.

  • Civil design for 42 bus shelters in the Houston Area - JAG Engineering evaluated over 70 different sites for feasibility in order to arrive at the 42 feasible sites. Site distance and ADA requirements were evaluated for each site. This project was completed on time and within budget in September 2013.

  • Topographic Survey and Civil Design for 10 bus shelters in the University of Houston area.
